With Homecoming drawing nearer and nearer, it’s never too early to prepare.
There are specific deadlines every student must adhere to, in addition to the theme day festivities. Here are the key dates for Homecoming Week 2017:
Oct. 9– Application forms for non-NHS attendees can be obtained.
Oct. 20– Applications for non-NHS attendees are due.
Oct. 23– Seniors can purchase tickets ($25).
Oct.24– Juniors can purchase tickets ($25).
Oct. 25– Sophomores can purchase tickets ($25).
Oct.26– Freshman can purchase tickets ($25).
Oct. 30– USA Day, tickets can be purchased for non-NHS attendees ($25).
Oct. 31– Trick or Treat Day, Cart judging at the west end of the green space.
Nov. 1– Tacky Tourist Day, Homecoming Olympics on Staver Field from 6:30-8 P.M.
Nov. 2– Career Day, Dodgeball in the green space from 6-7 P.M.
Nov. 3– School Spirit Day, Homecoming football game against Piper (Sunrise). Kickoff is at 7:30 P.M.
Nov. 4– Homecoming Dance, 8-11 P.M. Doors open at 7:30 P.M.
All ticket sales will be held at lunch in the auditorium; photo ID is required, and there are no refunds. Any outstanding obligations (overdue books, fines, etc.) must be taken care of in order to purchase a ticket. Questions or concerns? See Mr. Modugno or Ms. Hendry in the activities office.
