The Naples High School freshman boys basketball had one of their last games of the year on Feb. 5 against Estero High School.

“I’ve heard they aren’t good, the teams we beat have beaten them, so it shouldn’t be a challenge,” freshman Mason Richards said.

The Freshman basketball team has had an amazing season, only losing one game. They have only lost in the season opener to Gulf Coast High School.

”We have to stay focused and not underestimate our opponents because they can surprise us,” freshman Alex Greenling said.

The team came in confident and ended up winning the game. They now have the best record in Collier County for freshman basketball. Their last game will be against Riverdale High School on Feb. 8.
