The Super Bowl LVIII will begin on Feb. 11 at 6:30 p.m. in the Las Vegas Allegiant Stadium. The Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers will face off in a game that determines the recipients of the Vince Lombardi Trophy, an award that signifies the champions of the 2024 National Football League season.
The Kansas City Chiefs had an incredible season with a total of 11 wins and only six losses. The San Francisco 49ers also were triumphant with a season of 12 wins and five losses in 2023. Although many argue that the Super Bowl LVII could be anyone’s game, an article posted by ESPN insists that the Chiefs will be victorious with a probable score of 27-24 according to the NFL analysts and reporters referenced.
The half-time performer for the 2024 Super Bowl will be R&B and pop musician Usher. With a major career that began in the late 90s, Usher has won a total of eight Grammys and continued his success in a Las Vegas residency. Usher is set to go on his “Past Present and Future” tour beginning Aug. 20, accompanying the Feb. 9 release of his album “Coming Home.” It can be speculated that the singer will perform fan-favorite songs such as “Yeah!” as well as those very recently released.
A unique aspect of the 2024 Super Bowl has to do with another pop artist who could be attending, Taylor Swift. The singer-songwriter was first spotted at a Kansas City Chiefs game on Sept. 24, 2023, next to Travis Kelce’s mother, Donna.
From that moment on, Swift has been spotted at numerous Chiefs games throughout the 2023 season with outings with Kelce shortly after. Her attendance has not only boosted viewership of NFL games but has also sparked an Internet debate on whether Swift will make it to the Super Bowl after her “The Eras Tour” performance in Tokyo, Japan.
Even if viewers will not be able to see Swift in attendance at the Super Bowl LVIII, audiences from across the country will still have the opportunity to witness an amazing game against the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers and a highly anticipated halftime performance.
