The girls varsity lacrosse team played Benjamin High School Thursday night for the Region 3 Championship.
The girls came up short in the contest loosing 15-5. Benjamin jumped out to an early 3-0 lead and went into the half up 8-3.
Goalie Kylie Chickering anchored a defense who fought hard against the number 16 team in the country.
Jacqui Lawler, Sophia Chickering, Lane Calkins and Shale Bouchard scored for the Golden Eagles who fought hard throughout the contest.
