Spring Break is fastly approaching at the end of this week and vacations are on everyone’s mind. Instead of lounging around this break here are some thrifty ideas to give your spring break some excitement.

Naples Zoo

The Naples Zoo and Caribbean Gardens is a great place to kick off your vacations. Admission to the Zoo is $22.95 for adults and a children’s ticket is 14.95. Clam Pass State Pass

Another relaxing place to spend a day might be one of the many beaches Naples is known for. Clam’s Pass State Park offers food and drinks at the snackbar where beachgoers can grab a chair and kick back in the white sand. It’s only $5-$10 for a vehicle with a maximum of 8 people, so go hit the beach. Collier County Fair

The Collier County Fair opens for 10 days full of rides, games, and all the other double bypass delights you can think of. Next Thursday, March 15th,  the gates open. Tickets start at $10.50 per adult and $5.50 per child (12 and under). If you buy your tickets soon, for $26.00 you can get the “Megapass” which gives you a one-time entry and a ride wristband. Naples Botanical Gardens

After hitting the rides at the fair and you’re ready to relax why not spend an afternoon at the Naple Botanical gardens. The Gardens feature a collection of habitats and gardens displaying the cultures and flora between the 26th latitude. The gardens are 170-acres and feature plants from all around the world. Admission for adults is $14.95 and children are $9.95, also if you wanna bring your furry-four-legged friends it’s also only $9.95 per dog. Coral Cay Adventure Golf

Down off of US-41 Tamiami Trail east, is Coral Cay Adventure Golf. This putt-putt course features a 36 hole course for $13, but for $10 you can play a 24 hole game. Coral Cay features a harbor, caves, reefs, and waterfalls throughout the course. When you’re done on the course Coral Cay has a snack-bar, slushies, and ice cream for your enjoyment. The Movies

In Naples we have 3 movie theaters, so during your spring break why not watch a flick. The 3 theaters are SilverSpot, Paragon, and Town Center 6. Prices vary by theater but for SilverSpot in Mercato adult tickets are $15.55 and child tickets are $11.80.
