Toms Club recently held the One Day Without Shoes event at Naples High School. The club set up an inflatable obstacle course in the green space at NHS during lunch and after school on Apr. 20.
The event was to raise awareness about the importance of shoes, hoping to collect used and new shoes for those in need.
The One Day Without Shoes event encourages students to learn about the purpose of Toms Club. People participating in the One Day Without Shoes event, go for one day without wearing shoes, in order to learn the struggle of living without them. The event helps deliver shoes to schools in ten countries.
Toms Club aims to promote the TOMS story. The group shares the story through hosting events and activities at school. The club raises awareness about the health effects of shoes, sight, and self esteem upon students.
