Out of the many Naples High School clubs, Junior State of America (JSA) is known to be one of the favorites by students’ with a passion for debating.
This extracurricular club allows all students to voice their opinion on global conflicts that take place in conventions ranging from Ft. Lauderdale to Washington D.C.
As fall season comes closer, the Junior State of America members are starting to prepare for their first convention on October 27-28th. This event will be held at the Fort Lauderdale Marriott North in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
For students attending this convention, members must turn in the signed permission and registration forms
“It’s fun debating at conventions with other JSA members from across the country. It lets me voice my opinion on issues while also letting me hear from others who have different lives from me,” sophomore Coleman Gerber stated.
“Over the 3 years I’ve been in JSA, it has helped shape my view and establish myself as a person while also having fun,” junior Emma Young stated.
