Coach Pierre Eaton is stepping down as the head coach for the Naples High School boys basketball team.
Eaton made a public announcement via Twitter May 9.
I am stepping down as the basketball coach at Naples High School. It has been an incredible 9 years with a lifetime of great memories. I want to thank all of my coaches and players that have made my job so fulfilling these past few years.

“The kids and the relationships I’ve made with those players have made my years great,” Coach Eaton said.
Although Coach Eaton is stepping down from his coaching position, he is still retaining his job as a history teacher at NHS. The coaching position is still being decided.
“We don’t know yet who the new head coach will be yet,” Coach Eaton said. “Naples High has been a great place to coach…I enjoyed every minute of it!”
