Glass, written by M. Night Shyamalan, was released Jan. 18, as the third movie in a trilogy following Unbreakable and Split.

The movie follows the adventures of three men, introduced in Unbreakable and Split, who possess superhuman powers. The group must work together to escape an organization which monitors superhumans and show the world they exist.

Glass was critically acclaimed and was nominated for various awards, but let’s see what some Naples High School students have to say about the movie.

“I’ve been looking forward to seeing this movie,” sophomore Chase Wild said. “It exceeded my expectations with all the action involved.”

Action is an understatement. Glass was filled with tons of fast paced scenes and multiple fights, which interested many people.

“The story line was complex and super interesting,” sophomore James Tsang said. “I didn’t see the first two movies, but it was pretty easy to catch on to what was happening.”

Although some argue seeing the first two movies in the trilogy, Unbreakable and Split, isn’t necessary to enjoy and understand Glass, others say it would help.

“I didn’t understand a lot of the movie,” sophomore Maddie Laufer said. “It was most likely because i didn’t watch the first two movies.”

However, many students expressed their satisfaction with the actors plot and overall movie.

“I rate the movie a 10/10,” sophomore Caroline Figueroa said. “It was really exciting and the plot kept me interested.”

With many positive reviews, Glass is considered a must watch by many people.
