The Collier County Fair will be opening at the Collier County fairgrounds in Orangetree on March 14, and many students are already getting ready to go.

“I’m very excited for the fair,” freshman Richard Idirraga said. “I can’t wait to hang out with my friends and family.”

The fair will be having the same rides as last year, which includes small carnival rides. It also has lots of games for kids to play for prizes.

“I like the rides the best at the fair,” freshman Jonathan Nicacio said. “The games are also pretty fun, but they can be hard.”

The fair will be hosting new events every single day. Some of these events include livestock auctions, pizza nights, and demo derby nights.

It will cost thirty five dollars for fair-goers to buy a ticket for rides, and five to fifteen dollars to enter, depending on age.

Bring your family and friends along to the Collier County Fair from March 14-24!
