Alternative tunes, art, and rap are all things that were provided at iiipoints, a festival held in Miami on Feb. 15-17th.

The major sets over the three day period being Tyler, the Creator, SZA, and A$AP Rocky. Many students including myself were able to attend this amazing festival where we all had the time of our lives.

“The concert was so much fun and was definitely an experience of a lifetime,” Ashley Suarez said. “His performance was amazing and being able to see him so up close was great.”

Many artists were performing but the main artist people went to see were A$AP Rocky, a rapper who is famous for his affiliation with A$AP Mob.

“The performance was amazing and definitely one of a lifetime,” Brady Kane started. “Super lit when he came out with Tyler, The Creator which was an extra surprise to the concert.”

The special guest that performed with A$AP was a very unexpected event which many students who attended were excited about.

”I was up towards the front at some points and the crowd had formed a few mosh pits especially during the ‘Who Dat Boy’ performance but other then that the only thing that bothered me was the heat but it didn’t stop me from having fun,” Chloe Kemen explained.

A fun thing about festivals is the huge crowd accumulated a small space. Although it can be hot and sweaty it tends to bring the performance alive.

“The crowd was definitely rowdy and it was hot and sweaty but still fun,” Preston Messino said. “The way the crowd reacted to each song was different but for every song everyone went crazy too made the performance so much better.”

Festivals are a great way for people to get out of their comfort zone and also allow different types of music to broaden personal interests.
