Naples JV baseball had a tough district game on April 18 against Barron Collier.
Naples had been preparing for this game and knew they couldn’t underestimate the Cougars.
“Barron is one of the toughest teams in this district,” freshman Jackson Reis said. “We have to really get our minds set if we want to win this game.”
Naples JV baseball has had really good practice sessions throughout the week, and all of the players have stepped their game up.
“We really want this win against Barron,” freshman Jacob Tudor said. “They are our rival, of course we’re not going to fool around.”
Naples ended up taking the win in a dominating 8-3 game. The team hopes to continue doing well on their way to postseason.
