Disney•Pixar released a new trailer on March 19 for their upcoming animated movie Toy Story 4. The two-minute trailer has received over 35 million views since its premiere, and has gotten many students excited.

“I think it’s great that they’re making another Toy Story movie,” freshman Ariel Asaro said. “It looks like it’s gonna be a good movie.”

The movie stars Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and Forky, a new toy created by hand, as they go on a road trip with Bonnie, the child who plays with them. Bo Peep is also set to make an appearance at an antique shop in the movie, after being absent from Toy Story 3.

“I really want to know how the new character is relevant to the story,” freshman Morgan Langdon said. “He seems a bit evil to me.”

The movie is set to release in theaters on June 21— only about three months away from now.

“I’m planning on seeing it in theaters,” Asaro said. “Though I might wait for the reviews to come in first.”

Some students weren’t as excited as others, however.

“I thought it was alright, I probably won’t see it in theaters though,” freshman Russell Vanriper said.

Despite how long people have waited for this movie, it seems that the hype has not died out.
