Naples High held their annual Awards Night Monday night at 6 p.m. Students were recognized and awarded for their hard work throughout the year for certain classes, GPA and special awards.
“It was a really good experience, I loved it,” freshman Victoria Lee said. “I got the honors GPA award.”
Some students have been invited every year since they attended Naples High.
“I’ve been invited since I was a freshman and now I’m a junior,” Lorenzo Ferro said. “It was good everyone got to be recognized for hard work.”
A lot of students were worried about falling on stage and embarrassing themselves.
“I was scared I was going to trip on stage when getting handed my award,” Lee said. “Thankfully I didn’t fall but I hope I get invited again next year.”
Parents and families of students who got awards were very happy to see their kids get recognized .
“I’m so proud,” NHS mother Cohn Majeski said. “I’m glad I got to experience seeing my daughter get a award I hope to be back next year.”
Students had a amazing night and felt very awarded after receiving awards. Naples students hope to be invited next year.
